Antique French high-jewelry cocktail ring from the late 19th century, circa 1880, Napoleon III period / late Victorian era, crafted in solid 18 ct yellow gold. This characterful piece is centered with a 1.58-carat natural Zambian cushion-cut emerald.
The emerald is set within a double halo of antique rose-cut diamonds. Three additional rose-cut diamonds also accent the central gallery on each side of the ring. The diamonds total approximately 1.50 carat, with an estimated color of E/F and clarity of VS/SI.
True to its European heritage, the inside of the band bears the Owl hallmark for 18 ct gold. This 13 x 12.5 mm ring has been authenticated and is accompanied by a full gemological certificate from the Bellerophon laboratory in France, confirming the natural origin of the emerald.
