Cocktail ring, twisted wire setting, in 14Kt yellow gold (hallmark: scallop shell), decorated in its center with turquoise cabochons and brilliant-cut and 8x8 diamonds (whose total weight is estimated at approximately 0.10Ct).
Work circa 1960, probably American.
Gross weight: 20.30 g
Pattern height: 2.00 cm
Pattern width: 2.30 cm
Ring size: 54 (diameter 17.00 / US 6.50).
Condition: very light micro scratches, and traces of welding on the gold parts, slight wear of the setting, natural inclusions and slight abrasion in/on the stones, slight oxidation of the turquoises, see photos.
In the 60s, we witnessed a profusion of stones mounted in tiers, like a Christmas tree. Onyx, turquoise, coral, aquamarine, carnelian, citrine, amethyst, for the colors we had a field day!
