I classify this ring as Art Nouveau, even though there is neither a hallmark nor a maker's mark. The period is evident from the cut of the diamonds in their original settings, the design motif, and the fact that the ring has been worn with much love.
The ring is composed of an amorphous natural coral, "Solomon" color, set lengthwise along the finger. At each end of the coral is an old cushion-cut diamond of 2 points. The design is a classic scroll motif.
