Marquise ring in platinum (hallmark: mascaron), adorned at its center with a superb black opal cabochon weighing approximately 14.00 ct, surrounded by 8x8-cut and old-cut diamonds, with a total estimated weight of about 0.35 ct. Finely engraved setting.
A certificate from the French Gemmology Laboratory dated 2000 accompanies the ring, certifying that the stone is an opal.

Condition: very light micro-scratches on the platinum parts, natural inclusions in the opal, see photos.
