Hexagonal ring in platinum (hallmark: dog's head) set in the center with a half-cut diamond, weighing approximately 0.25 ct (estimated color H, estimated clarity SI), surrounded by rose-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 0.10 ct.
Circa 1920, Art Deco, France.

The Art Deco movement, abbreviation for “Decorative Arts,” was born around 1910. It reached its peak in the 1920s and then declined in the 1930s. In reaction to the rounded and organic forms of Art Nouveau, this “Roaring Twenties” style developed geometric and streamlined shapes.
