Antique ring in 14-carat rose gold, dating from around 1900, blending the elegance of the late Victorian era with the early accents of the Edwardian style. A luminous ruby occupies the center, surrounded by six diamonds.
The combination of rose gold, ruby, and diamonds was particularly appreciated around the turn of the century. The symmetrical arrangement of the stones and the fine claw setting indicate a creation between about 1890 and 1910.
