The whole piece is adorned with 350 natural brilliant-cut diamonds: 7 diamonds of 0.05 ct each, 111 diamonds of 0.01 ct each (bones), 145 diamonds of 0.03 ct each (snake), and 87 diamonds of 0.02 ct each (skull), for a total of approximately 7.55 ct, in transparent and fancy colors (yellow, champagne, and brown) and VS clarity. The snake's eyes are composed of 2 small emeralds of 0.02 ct each.
