The sapphire’s intense blue immediately stands out thanks to the brightness of the platinum, creating a highly elegant chromatic contrast.
This central presence, framed by diamonds of different sizes, defines the charm of this American ring from the 1950s.
The natural sapphire, approximately 0.80 ct, features a refined oval brilliant cut that highlights the depth of its color and the brilliance of its surface.
On either side of the sapphire extends an elegant sequence of natural round brilliant-cut and tapered-cut diamonds, arranged along a curving line that follows the shape of the setting.
The combination of the two different cuts creates an interesting play of surfaces and reflections: the sparkle of the round diamonds combines with the sharper geometry of the tapered diamonds, precisely defining the upper part of the ring.
The platinum setting features soft, enveloping lines, with side elements that guide the eye toward the central stone.
