This pendant Art Deco in platinum features nine single-cut diamonds and an assortment of emeralds cut into triangles and calibré shapes, forming a sparkling devil's face. The pendant is handmade. Each emerald is individually cut to fit into the face like a puzzle, with shapes ranging from a marquise cut for the mouth to squares and triangles for the curves of the horns. The settings for each stone have been carefully hand-carved, and beautiful millegrain work adds texture to the devil's face. Incorporating the geometric design elements of the Art Deco era, this is a unique piece: we have never seen a devil's face in a micro-pavé setting like this one. Masterfully crafted, this piece is sure to spark conversation.
Originally a tie pin, we have transformed the piece into a pendant. It weighs just over 2g and measures 11/16” x 3/8”, with an additional bail of 5 x 6.8 mm. The pendant is not hallmarked, but has been acid-tested as platinum; the bail is in 14k white gold. The single-cut diamonds measure from 1 to 2 mm.
