This 18k white gold ring set with diamonds features all the classic elements of a Art Deco ring. The 0.55-carat old European cut diamond is held in a square setting surrounded by openwork, giving the appearance of a fully square ensemble. The diamond is bead-set and surrounded by "float" motifs, framed by another square setting decorated with milgrain. The basket is concave, folding into a triangular shape that gives the ring a delicate geometric quality. The basket features the typical filigree work of the Art Deco era, which extends along the sides of the shank and tapers into a thin band with scrolling foliage details.
The natural old European cut diamond features a lovely open culet, VS1 clarity, I-J color, and a diameter of 5.25 mm. It weighs 0.55 carat. The ring is hallmarked 18k gold. Weight: 2.3 g. The square face of the ring measures 5/16” x 5/16”. The band has a width of 1 mm x 1.3 mm.
Ring size: 6.5 (resizing possible).
Perfect as an engagement ring, but can be worn on any finger.
