Antique Art Deco cocktail ring dating from around 1920, monumental in its dimensions and remarkable for its design.
At its center is a natural sapphire of 10 to 15 carats, a stone of exceptional size. The sapphire was drilled through its center and set with an old-cut diamond of approximately 0.30 ct, estimated clarity SI, color F. A jewel within the jewel, demonstrating the great technical expertise of the original jeweler.
The sapphire is surrounded by a halo of diamonds that further enhances its presence on the hand. The underside of the ring is finely chased, a level of finish entirely consistent with high-end workshop production, where every surface of the piece was designed and executed with the same care.
