Stylish antique Victorian amethyst & pearl crescent moon pendant crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1880s to 1900s)
Amethysts & pearls graduate in size from 1.5mm to 3.5mm.
Set into a classic crescent moon motif, the rich royal purple amethysts glimmer, arranged to create a celestial effect, evoking a shimmering night sky. An alternating setting of lustrous pearls compliments the amethysts. The crescent moon motif holds a mystical and enduring charm with a timeless connection to the cosmic world. The piece was converted to a pendant from a brooch.
The pendant is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.

Stones: Amethysts & pearls graduate in size from 1.5mm to 3.5mm.
Size & Measurements: The pendant measures 2 1/2 inches in length and is 3mm wide (0.11 inches). The bale measures 3mm wide and can accommodate a thin to medium thick chain.
Metal & Hallmark: 14 karat yellow gold. The pendant is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14k gold. Note: the bale is 14k yellow gold.
