Elongated aquamarine with an icy blue color, oval and faceted cut, set on a simple 18k white gold mount that highlights the stone.
Ring crafted by Amsterdam SAUER, a Brazilian jeweler renowned for his use of Brazilian precious stones. The aquamarine displays beautiful depth, creating numerous refractions for remarkable brilliance and vibrancy. The stone is claw-set, and on each side of the aquamarine, there are single cut diamonds bezel-set in the band. The white gold and sparkling white diamonds complement the facets of the aquamarine and enhance its brilliance.
In 1941, Amsterdam SAUER was founded by Jules Sauer, who had arrived in Brazil a few years earlier after fleeing Europe during World War II. His first boutique opened in 1956 near the Copacabana Palace, an iconic location then known as the epicenter of glamour. Jules Sauer contributed to the recognition of emeralds in Brazil and published renowned books on Brazilian gemstones. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Colored Gemstone Association.
