Pendant in 750 thousandths 18-carat yellow and white gold, eagle's head hallmark. A superb antique jewel, it is composed of an openwork decoration of arabesques in white gold filigree which hold in the center a matte gold medal representing the haloed virgin. “Ave Maria” is written at the bottom. A sapphire is bezel-set with millegrains, and the old medal holds a fine baroque pearl as a tassel. On the back, the pendant is engraved with a chalice and an arabesque engraving.
