The Castellani famous family of goldsmiths of the 19th century in Rome needs no further introduction. They are an emblem of timeless perfection in the world of antique jewelry.
Here we present a pair of Castellani antique gold and lapislazuli earrings in Etruscan style as a pair of amphoras with very fine filigree detailed work.
A top quality lapislazuli is in the middle of the amphoras. Only Castellani House achieved such quality in these little masterpieces in the 19th century. They received important awards at exhibitions in London and Paris. Under the two bases there is the famous Castellani maker's monogram (hallmark) of the two opposite C.
