Master goldsmith: Although we did not find a maker's mark in the stork, it is because of the level of manufacturing that we believe that it could have been made by the Froment-Meurice house.

Precious stones :
- A large baroque pearl serving as a pot that the stork holds, a seed bead outside the bottom of the "pot".
- Two small cabochon-cut stones, one onyx and one turquoise
Hallmarks: The ring is hallmarked with the French 18-carat gold control hallmark representing an eagle's head which was in use in France from around 1838. We found no hallmark on the stork.
