Fascinating baroque treasure, this 18-carat yellow gold ring demonstrates the artistic complexity of this era. At its heart are two slightly larger table-cut diamonds, each surrounded by smaller diamonds arranged in a cross. These "flowers" are so close to each other that they share a single setting, creating a unique interplay of overlapping forms. Set perpendicularly to the band, this striking creation captures the very essence of 17th-century jewelry craftsmanship. Imagine the wonder you will feel wearing such an extraordinary piece, imbued with more than three centuries of history.

Style specifics
Baroque is an artistic and decorative style that developed shortly before 1600 and remained prevalent in Europe until the emergence of the Rococo style around 1730. Born in Italy, it spread to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal. Only a more or less austere classical version was popular in France under Louis XIV. This style, which originated from the Renaissance, is characterized by lively, curved, and exuberant forms, vigorous movement, and rich ornamentation inspired by classical sources, symmetrical as opposed to the asymmetry of the Rococo style that followed it.
