Elegant sapphire ring 1920
in platinum 850, centered with a rectangular cushion-cut natural sapphire weighing approximately 1.30 ct, millegrain bezel-set. The sapphire is set within a scalloped surround of old-cut round diamonds, then calibrated sapphires. The basket is finely crafted with a delicate frieze, while the palmette shoulders feature a small rose-cut diamond.

Estimated sapphire weight: 1.30 ct. Natural sapphire, very few inclusions.
Estimated diamond weight: about 1 ct. Clarity SI, color G-H.
Ring size: 47.5 (with two reduction balls, adjustable).
Gross weight: 4.2 g (platinum 850/1000 – dog's head hallmark).
Condition:
Micro-scratches from use on the main sapphire.
Color of the main sapphire: deep blue with a slight greenish hue, homogeneous.
The calibrated sapphires display an intense midnight blue. Some stones (4 or 5) have minor chips.
The diamonds (about 0.10 ct each) are SI clarity and G-H color, in good overall condition.
