Brooch in yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, mercury head hallmark and platinum, head of a young girl. Representing a rose, this vintage brooch is articulated and can therefore present the flower open or closed in bud. The pistils are made up of mobile gold rods, each set at their end with a brilliant-cut diamond. The petals are made of woven gold thread and the edge of the petal set with a line of diamonds. The stem is set with leaves and a diamond. It is these which activate the opening and closing mechanism of the flower by a movement from bottom to top and vice versa. The pin has a safety pump and 2 gold rods are at the back of the flower to keep it in place once attached to the garment.
