Superb antique engagement ring is made of 18 carat white gold (750 thousandths) and platinum, guaranteeing superior quality and exceptional durability. The basket is finely openworked and scalloped, the milgrain setting delicately adorns the intense blue sapphire.
At the center of this ring is a magnificent synthetic Verneuil sapphire of approximately 2 carats delicately highlighted by a surround of old-cut diamonds. Note that the sapphire is slightly frosted on the facets and very little visible to the naked eye. This effect is due to the wear of time and the great age of the ring.
These diamonds, known for their brilliance and charm, have a rather white hue and offer a total weight of approximately 1 carat, thus bringing a subtle and refined brilliance to the entire ring.
