Ring "Toi & Moi" Art Nouveau, made around 1900 in 18-carat yellow gold and platinum. Its two terminal bands coil into a soft vegetal scroll, a signature of the Art Nouveau style. An old-cut diamond sits next to an oval ruby, each claw-set, while the crossed shoulders are accented with old-cut diamonds, creating a gentle sparkle. The French name "Toi & Moi" is explicit: Toi & Moi, united in a single ring, a little wish to wear, a story that has every chance of becoming a family heirloom.

Style
Art Nouveau is an international artistic movement that peaked between about 1890 and 1905. In jewelry, it is characterized by fluid lines and ornaments inspired by nature.
This style spread throughout Europe under different names, notably Jugendstil in German-speaking regions and Stile Liberty in Italy. In the Netherlands, it was sometimes called "Slaolie stijl," meaning "salad oil style."
