Here we present a pair of antique gold earrings covered by hundreds of very small natural pearls that shape a large full rounded drop. As top we have a round element. An incredible perfect work from Sicily, half of the 19th century. Look the shining of the pearls and the nice classical design of these earrings. Well preserved despite the age they are in perfect condition. Very nice to wear.
From Sicily, half of the 19th century. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). An old hallmark is on the hooks. Small natural pearls were fished by Sicilians in the eastern Mediterranean coasts and also used for jewelry since the Middle Ages.
