Becker Maris Stella pendant medal, representing the Virgin Mary with a halo in profile, crafted in 18-carat yellow gold and set with probably fine pearls, white with undertones of gray, in perfect condition.
Circa 1900-1910
Diameter of the medal: 2.18 centimeters, height of the jewel with bail: 3 centimeters.
Total weight of the medal: 4.11 grams. The medal is sold without the presentation chain.
Our opinion: this sublime medal branded Becker from the end of the 19th century, Art Nouveau period is ultra rare. It is in excellent condition including the pearls because they are generally missing and spaced out on this type of medal.
