18-carat 750 thousandths rose gold chain necklace, horse head guarantee hallmark in use between 1838 and 1919.
French regional work from Auvergne. Composed of a chain with Link round flat Velay decorated with a large volume snap clasp, finely chiseled and adorned with a different enameled flower motif on each of the two sides, a pansy and a Daisy.
These sentiment necklaces were commonly given at weddings. This one is complete with its antique chain, which is particularly rare.

Chain width: 3 mm - Total length: 47 cm - Weight: 7.47 g
Very good condition. Jewel revised / cleaned / polished. Small enamel losses on the clasp. Note an irregularity on the Link 2.5 cm from the ring, which nevertheless remains solid. The necklace has been left in its original condition, as shown in the photos.
