A marvel of Georgian craftsmanship, this 18-carat yellow gold ring dating from around 1820 exudes timeless charm. Made in the southern Netherlands, it features an intricate motif of eleven "spiders" surmounting a band formed by six twisted wires, each soldered side by side and adorned with alternating gold flowers and diamonds. This motif, widespread from the 16th to the 19th century in Holland, embodies not only the artistic inclinations of the era but also a possible symbolism still not fully deciphered, offering a tangible link to the rich cultural heritage of its time.
