Circa 1970 ring set with an oval Ceylon sapphire of approximately 6 carats, unheated, exhibiting a medium blue color with good transparency.
The sapphire is framed by brilliant-cut diamonds and flanked by tapered baguette-cut diamond shoulders, with a total diamond weight of approximately 1.40 carat.
Crafted in 18-carat yellow gold, the ring reflects the refined yet confident design language of late 20th-century jewellery, where proportion and material take precedence over excess ornament.
