Brooch platinum, dog head hallmark. Lovely old brooch, it is adorned in the center with a round cabochon opal supported on either side by two old brilliant-cut diamonds. The rest of the barrette is set with a line of 2x8 rose-cut diamonds. The clasp is a safety pin.
