Piquè is the old (and lost!) art of inlay small gold points on the tortoiseshell. This art started in Naples in the 18th century. Here we have a beautiful pair of antique earrings end of the 19th century with a bead of tortoiseshell as Top and down a drop full of gold points inlaid in the tortoiseshell.
They are an elegant pair of very light earrings. End of the 19th century from Naples.
