Earrings M. Gérard
Charming and unusual vintage earrings made by André Vassort for Maison Gérard. In the shape of a shield, they are made of 18K yellow gold and enhanced with cabochon rubies (approximately 0.40ct per earring), diamonds (approximately 0.20ct per earring EF/VVS-VS) and blue enamel.
“Clip” closing systems but a rod can be added by a professional.
Maison Gérard was founded in 1968 by Louis Gérard, formerly of Van Cleef & Arpels, and experienced rapid growth. It is rightly considered one of the most important French post-war jewelry houses. It ceased its activity in December 1991.
