In 18k gadrooned yellow gold, applied with a rectangular motif of platinum with openwork decoration of diamond palmettes and centered with a rectangular sapphire cut with sides weighing approximately 2 cts.

French work, illegible maker's mark.
Dimensions of the stone: approximately 7.3 x 6.2 x 4.4 mm.
Dimensions: approximately 9 x 0.7 cm.
Weight: 13.0 g (18k - 750/1000 and Pt - 950/1000 – dog head and eagle head hallmarks).

Brooch in good condition. Patina of time, particularly around the central motif. Old cut and rose cut diamonds. Stones in good condition. Sapphire in good condition, protected by a closed setting. Deep in color with beautiful lighter highlights.
