1960s Tiffany & Co Burma Ruby Diamond Ring platinum
Vintage Tiffany & Co ruby & diamond cluster ring made in platinum 900 (around the 1960s).
The oval mixed size natural ruby measures 7.1 x 5.4 x 3.0 mm (estimated 1 carat). The color and inclusions are typical of rubies from Burma (Myanmar). There is no evidence of any processing of ruby. Sixteen diamonds total approximately 0.70 carat (estimated in FG color and VS clarity). The ruby is in good condition with two tiny chips evident (visible under 10x magnifying glass).
The vintage cluster ring is an irresistible classic, ideal to wear as a cocktail ring or alternative gemstone engagement ring. Burmese ruby is absolutely stunning and shines in a rich, vibrant red hue. The accented diamonds sparkle with lots of sparkle and fire. The low-cut ring (5 mm - 0.19 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. Tiffany & Co box is included (see photo).
