Stylish vintage opal & diamond'Toi & Moi' ring crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1960s).
Cabochon cut pear shaped opals measures 8.5mm x 6mm. Diamonds total an estimated 0.28 carats (estimated at IJ color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Note: small chip to one opal (visible under a 10x magnifying glass).
Set into a romantic"Toi & Moi" design the textured bypass ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The natural opals show vivid green, blue and turquoise color flashes.
They light up beautifully in natural sunlight (opals are hard to photograph & the vivid color flashes were not captured in the images!) The medium rise ring (7.5mm - 0.29 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
