Brooch/pendant in yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark. Octagonal in shape with an openwork circle pattern and dotted with fine pearls, this pendant holds a cameo on 4-layer agate representing the left profile of a woman's bust. The back opens like a medallion to incorporate a photo or lock of hair. For the brooch, the hanging system is a pin with a safety hook. The latter folds and the pin unscrews to allow the jewel to be worn as a pendant. The removable bail is in the shape of an openwork fleur-de-lis.
