Antique ring in solid 18-carat rose gold (750 thousandths) and in platinum, stamped with the owl and mascaron hallmarks affixed by the Bureau de Garantie. French Victorian work from the late 19th century. Centered with an old-cut diamond set on an eight-claw setting in platinum, flanked by two rose-cut diamonds on a platinum bezel. The ring's band is half-round.
