Elegant Natural Ethiopian Opal Cocktail Ring Crafted in 14k Yellow Gold (circa 1960s)
The natural opal measures 13mm x 10mm (estimated at 5.65 carats). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal is a later addition to the ring.
Natural opal features a strong color matrix, with flashes of green, turquoise, yellow, purple, orange and red. The oval design is ideal to wear as an alternative gemstone engagement ring or as a right hand ring for everyday wear. The medium sized ring (10mm - 0.39 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and has recently been lightly cleaned and polished.
