- This lovely old brooch is made up of a double gold barrette, each ending at one end with a fine pearl, on which rests an insect whose body is a bezel-set sapphire and a fine baroque pearl.
- The wings are entirely set with rose-cut diamonds and the eyes are two bezel-set rubies.
- The clasp is a pin with safety hook.
