Pair of antique earrings with a Top having in the middle a big round pearl surrounded by many small natural pearls. Down is pending a big shining mother of pearl drop.
All is mounted in 14K Gold. The earrings are very nice and wearable. From Sicily, end of the 19th century. 14K Gold (touchstone tested)
An old hallmark is on the hooks. Small natural pearls were fished by Sicilians in the eastern Mediterranean coasts and also used for jewelry since the Middle Ages.
