Vintage zoomorphic ring in solid silver and 18-carat 750/1000 yellow gold, stamped with a crab guarantee hallmark as well as the diamond-shaped hallmark of the famous Parisian jeweler Arthus Bertrand.
Depicting a finely chiseled and engraved cat with beautiful relief, wrapping around the finger. Its left ear is pierced and adorned with a movable circular yellow gold ring. In addition, the ring is decorated with Egyptian protection symbols such as the Eye of Horus and the winged scarab of the goddess ISIS.
This ring is a reproduction of an ancient Egyptian model discovered in a temple at TELL BASTA, in the Nile Delta, and kept in a French museum (probably the Louvre Museum).
