Antique medal pendant in solid 18 carat yellow gold (750 thousandths) eagle's head hallmark. French Art Nouveau work from the 1920s, branded "AG" for the jeweler and medallist André GIARD and "MONIER" for the sculptor Emile MONIER (1883-1970). Triangular in shape, it is decorated with fine details of a magnificent relief decoration representing a thatched house inscribed in a heart. Bordered by the inscription: "UNE CHAUMIERE ET UN COEUR". No engraving on the reverse.

Very good condition. Very light micro-scratches. A small trace of use at the tip of the triangles, visible only on the back. Very beautiful texture and shine of the gold. This is a rare old romantic jewel, very beautifully made with a lot of charm.
