“Axelle” gold brooch
In yellow gold buckle, applied with a pink gold band, the whole decorated with friezes of vine leaves and probably fine white and gray pearls. It is topped and underlined with yellow gold arabesques.
19th century period.
French work. Trace of master's mark.
Dimensions: approximately 5 x 2.5 cm.
Simple closing pin with safety push button.
Weight: 9.6 g (18k – 750/1000 – eagle head hallmark).
Condition: Very good condition. Two tassel beads are probably re-used because they are pierced at the back. But this is not visible from the front.
