- Sublime antique jewel from the Napoleon III period, it is formed of an antique brooch, representing a knotted ribbon, entirely black enameled and decorated in the center on an openwork oval motif with an antique cushion-cut diamond and 6 rose-cut diamonds with folded claws. The knot supports a large removable heart-shaped pendant in the shape of a tassel and opening. The bail and the front are also black enameled and also set with rose-cut diamonds for the bail and rose-cut diamonds and antique cushion- and pear-shaped diamonds held in claws. The back of the heart is finely chiseled with acanthus leaf motifs. The heart pendant opens with a small hinge on the side and reveals in its center 2 compartments separated by a glass circled in gold in order to hold a photo, a souvenir ... This antique transforming jewel can be worn in different ways: the medallion pendant and its bail alone on a chain or a ribbon, the ribbon brooch alone with a pin on the back, the set of 2 jewels grouped together in a brooch, or in a pendant, thanks to a rack system on the back of the knot which allows the pin to be removed from the brooch.
