Longines Classic Caliber 420 – 18-carat yellow gold (1960s) – Longines service 2025 with 24-month warranty. Mechanical Longines watch from the 1960s, equipped with the Longines 420 manufacture caliber, a direct evolution of the famous 30L. A movement renowned for its precision, thinness, and robustness, representative of Longines/Saint-Imier expertise before caliber standardization. The 18K yellow gold case (33 mm) embodies Longines’ refined aesthetic: slim lines, discreet elegance, and perfect proportions for a dress watch. Original, unrestored dial silver, with small seconds at 6 o’clock and natural patina consistent with its age. Gilt baton hands and crystal replaced during the service. Complete overhaul performed by Longines World Service in Oct. 2025 (St-Imier, Switzerland): disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, replacement of crystal and hands, chronometric control. Manufacturer’s warranty until November 2027. Watch delivered with its original box, Longines service box, warranty card, official documents, and replaced parts. A refined, authentic, perfectly functional piece, representing one of the last generations of calibers entirely designed by Longines. A gentleman’s watch, reliable, elegant, and collectible.
