Let us guide you through the captivating charm of this striking jewel. At first glance, its design fits perfectly with the spirit of the 1970s. However, unlike the tradition of the time, when diamonds were mostly colorless, sometimes even slightly tinted, this piece offers a dazzling array of fancy diamonds.
This harmonious fusion, between fidelity to the fashion of the era and the innovative choice of colored diamonds, demonstrates an artistic sense and refined sophistication. More than just a design choice, it is a bold statement of style and individuality.
The color palette of this jewel is surprisingly close to that of the new collections by Victoire de Castellane for Dior. Yet, one perceives the underlying muse of today's modern elegance.

Additional information about the quality of the diamonds
and their gemological reports:
In general, we prefer to avoid removing precious stones from a jewel in order to preserve its authenticity as much as possible. For antique jewelry and vintage, an estimate of quality by preservation is generally more valuable than precise information. However, in the case of fancy colored diamonds, precise information is even more valuable. Therefore, we have sought to maintain a reasonable balance in our choice to test these diamonds by selecting only nine diamonds for certification, representative of the entire lot. You can consult the results from the IGI (International Gemological Institute) laboratory in the photo section, but we will highlight here the most important aspects concerning the fancy diamonds.
Regarding their color shades:
All the diamonds in this brooch are natural and their color is the result of an additional treatment. Since the 1950s, fancy diamond colors have been achieved by thermal treatment and/or irradiation. Irradiated diamonds available on the market are not radioactive and therefore present no danger.
Moreover, not all diamond colors are considered "fancy." Only diamonds whose color is sufficiently intense can be classified as "fancy." This is the case for all the diamonds in this brooch.
Regarding their clarity grades:
These diamonds not only exhibit a high degree of color, but also rather good clarity, generally ranging between VS and VVS. This phenomenon is rare for diamonds treated for their color, as this treatment is generally applied to diamonds of lower clarity in order to enhance them. Therefore, one can expect low clarity grades for diamonds treated for color.
These facts only make this brooch even more unique.
