Wide bangle ring in silver platinum (silver covered with platinum) centered with a beautiful oval opal weighing approximately 2.50 cts. The upper edge of the ring as well as the return under the finger are entirely paved with diamonds.

Silver platinum is a traditional technique combining a base ofsilver to a veneer of platinum. Lorenz Baümer makes personal and controlled use of it, combining technical properties and aesthetic effects: the resistance and cold whiteness of the platinum encounter the malleability of thesilver, for a bright and lasting finish. This treatment preserves thesilver from oxidation, maintaining the shine of the jewel over time.
The opal displays beautiful play of light in shades of blue and green. A subtle chip is noted, very limited and harmless to the stone. The diamonds, well calibrated, are of beautiful quality and enhance the brilliance and contrast with the grayish hue of the metal.
