Antique garter ring, dating from the Belle Époque (1910s). Made of 18-carat (750 thousandths) yellow gold, it is set with alternating blue sapphires and natural diamonds of fine quality. The stones total approximately 0.20 carats of sapphires and 0.20 carats of diamonds, creating a beautiful balance. The shoulder of the wedding ring, where the stones rest, is finely decorated with ornamental motifs, all handmade in gold.
The garter ring, often narrow and delicate, was designed to evoke this idea of finesse and refinement, while being a symbol of love and fidelity.
