This elegant Belle Époque ring "Toi & Moi", made around 1900, captures the romance and refinement of that era. It features two old brilliant-cut diamonds, set in an elegant swirl of 18-carat yellow gold and platinum. Adorned with rose-cut diamonds, its design is both delicate and striking. With its symbolic motif "Toi & Moi", this ring perfectly embodies the feeling of eternal love. Style
Halfway between late Victorian style and the Belle Époque, Victorian decorative arts refer to the style of decorative arts from the Victorian era. This period is known for its eclectic revival and interpretation of historic styles, as well as for the introduction of intercultural influences from the Middle East and Asia into furniture, accessories, and interior decoration.
Victorian design is widely considered to have displayed a regrettable excess of ornamentation.
The Belle Époque is a period of European social history that began at the end of the 19th century and lasted until the First World War. Taking place during the era of the French Third Republic and the German Empire, the "Belle Époque" was named retrospectively, when it began to be seen as a "golden age." The great European powers and new technologies improved living conditions, and commercial arts adapted Renaissance and 18th-century styles to modern forms. In the United States, newly wealthy and emerging from the Panic of 1873, the comparable era was dubbed the Gilded Age. In the United Kingdom, this period overlaps the end of what is called the Victorian era and the period known as the Edwardian era.

Style specifics
The late Victorian or Aesthetic period - Experts divide the reign of Queen Victoria, also called the Victorian era (1837-1901), into three periods of about twenty years each; the Romantic Victorian period (1837-1860), the Grand Victorian period (1860-1880), and the late or Aesthetic Victorian period (1880-1901).
We consider this to be the late Victorian or Aesthetic period.
The jewelry of this era evolved, moving from heavy pieces to smaller and more romantic ones, often with whimsical motifs. Jewelers used diamonds and brilliant gemstones to create refined and elaborate feminine pieces.
