Antique seal pendant in solid 18-carat rose gold (750 thousandths), bearing a partial guarantee hallmark on the seal's ring and an eagle's head hallmark on the bail.
French work from the first half of the 19th century. Body composed of a set of six finely chiseled palmettes joining the base with a gold bead. Natural citrine in a bezel setting, engraved with a monogrammed intaglio of monogramme MR.
The bail is a large removable round "broken" ring, allowing the passage of a wide chain or cord.

Base diameter: 1.44 cm - Diameter of the broken ring: 1.1 cm
Weight: 4.51 g
Condition: Very good. Some light micro-scratches on the citrine. Some ink residue in the intaglio and on the edge of its gold setting.
This is an authentic antique collector's jewel, with a beautiful presence and in superb condition.
