18K white gold ring with square top adorned with baguette sapphires mounted in an invisible setting embellished with diamond paving.
This setting technique is only practiced by very high quality jewelers due to its difficulty. Van Cleef & Arpels have made it their signature since the patent was filed in 1933 for their so-called mysterious setting. Cartier also filed a similar patent for their invisible setting.
This art deco style ring presents 9 calibrated baguette sapphires weighing a total of 1.08 Ct and decorated with a rim of small diamonds, also present on each side.
