Natural jelly opal - elegant diamond cocktail ring made in platinum 900.
Natural frozen opal cabochon cut, 2.25 carats. The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips. Opal exhibits a strong play of colors ranging from blue to green, turquoise, yellow orange and bits of red. Around the opal are 12 complete sizes, total weight approx. 0.18ct, GH color, VS-SI qualities, good cuts.
Frozen opal glows in natural sunlight, with interchangeable colors as seductive as confetti. Frozen opals have a wonderful watery appearance showing strong flashes of color with each movement of the ring. The cocktail ring is medium sized and makes a beautiful statement on the hand. The medium sized ring (7.5mm - 0.29 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and has been lightly cleaned and polished.
