Style specifics
Baroque is an artistic and decorative style that developed shortly before 1600 and remained common in Europe until the emergence of the Rococo style around 1730. Born in Italy, it spread to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal. Only a classical, more or less austere version was popular in France under Louis XIV. This style, originating from the Renaissance, is characterized by lively, curved, and exuberant forms, vigorous movement, and rich ornamentation inspired by classical sources, symmetrical as opposed to the asymmetry of the succeeding Rococo style.

Technique
The rose-cut diamonds are set on foil. This special technique was used to enhance the brilliance of the diamonds.
Diamonds
A large rose-cut diamond, about 1.00 inch, equivalent to a modern emerald cut, and twelve brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds, which is common in our trade for rose cuts.
All diamond weights, color shades, and clarity are approximate as the stones are not removed from their settings to preserve the integrity of the mounting.
All the diamonds we offer are checked by the IJGC to determine whether they are natural or synthetic, and all the diamonds in this jewel are guaranteed 100% natural.
Birthstones
Diamond is the birthstone (or birth month stone) for the month of April.
